There have been a lot great new releases in the last several weeks and today I'm catching up with more artists I've been listening to for a while as well as a new-to-me artist.
22 song playlist including Carol Ades, Olivia O'Brien, Chloe Qisha, and Sofia and the Antoinettes

Carol Ades
Carol Ades is one of those "Found on TikTok at 1am and listened to one song on my playlist for a year" people so, when I heard "Familiar Hell" last month, I finally checked out her other music. Not surprisingly, I've found a few more songs to add along side "Through".
I included my faves in the playlist but I think the 2000s movie soundtrack "26" wins out.

Olivia O'Brien
I started following Olivia before TikTok and lost track of her for the last few years. Last week, I came across "I'm Perfect" and "The Maschochist" and she re-entered the rotation.
Olivia has done a good job of exploring different genres and has had a lot of different styles over the years. I really like where she is going now based off the three pre-released songs for her upcoming album "PIXIE" (out in July!).

Chloe Qisha
Warning: You will either have a crush, fall in love, or be jealous of Chloe (or all three) so consider yourself warned. "I guess the tears are bringing out the color in my eyes" from "So Sad, So Hot" is probably one of the best lines I've ever heard. The last "So sad, so hot" in the song should have an additional warning.
I really can't pick favorites (as usual), but I've included the ones I listen to the most and I hope you like them as much as I do.

Sofia and the Antoinettes
I was lucky enough to come across "Naked Chess" off this year's EP "Leaving The House Is A Performance" and discovered an effortlessly cool mix of indie rock and synthpop with a touch of vintage vibes.
The lyrics to "Spiraling" are such a good representation of crashing out over something you are overthinking and the chorus from "Hi My Love" is just gorgeous.
I'm looking forward to having an alternate Erin LeCount to listen to now.
We Did It Girl!
I don't know how to explain the category these artists occupy in my brain, but the closest I can get is older sister vibes. Like more adult than me, but still not fully an adult. Anyway, stop listening to me and go listen to some good music. 💜
